Thanks for correcting the double vote

The first vote I had reverted http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia%3ARequests_for_adminship%2FVeinor&diff=111124830&oldid=111122770 because I had voted before the applicant had consented: someone obviously reinstated my vote when he had without me noticing. Essjay, you may be interested in the following discussion. Before going there, I'd like to make it clear that in starting this discussion I was distinctly attempting to remain abstract and not generate a discussion on you or my recent conflict with you. Twice now I've tried to steer the conversation off that.

I'm not wading into it. Mackensen has already stated that the clerks are vital to RFCU. The community is capabale of deciding whether they want a working RFCU or not without my input. Per my policy of avoiding controversy where possible, I will not be participating in the discussion, and will refrain from activity on RFCU and CHU-CHU/U until the matter has been decided. Nope, I think the best thing for me to do is just leave the pages until everything is sorted out. The worst that will happen is a backlog, but then, we had one of those when maintaining the pages was left to the community at large, because nobody did anything except me.
